| The Malaysian Footwear Manufacturing Association is looking for a new talent to fill in the distinguished shoes of Jimmy Choo.
Association president Tony Ting said they were looking for the next world renowned shoe designer via the Malaysia Footwear Design Competition.

| National library targets one million members |
| The National Library is going on a recruitment drive to achieve one million members by the end of this year. It already has 900,000 members.
Its deputy director-general Siti Rodziah Othman said the library was collaborating with other state libraries, particularly those in the rural areas, to recruit more members.

| Skills training scholarships for school leaver & jobless grads |
| The Sarawak Skills Development Centre (PPKS) has received RM15mil under the economic stimulus package to offer scholarships to school-leavers and unemployed graduates to take up skills training courses.

| Jetstar Asia is offering 88,000 free seats for travel between July 1 to March 25 from Singapore to four local destinations. This offer to celebrate the launch of its Penang service ends on Wednesday.
