Plans to increase the loan interest rates for non-national cars will benefit local car-makers as consumers will be more inclined to buy national cars. Drop in chicken price due to low demand
Lower demand for chicken has pushed its price down by as much as 40 sen a kilo. The Federation of Livestock Far¬mers' Associations of Malaysia said yesterday that the price of super-grade chicken certified with the veterinary health mark had been cut from RM7.70 a kilo to RM7.30 a kilo.
