The popular Eastern flavouring lives up to its name at this restaurant. Run by the Dhillon brothers and their mum calling the shots in the kitchen, the no-fuss but comfortable interior only serves to highlight the authenticity of the Northern Indian/Punjabi cuisine offered here.

There is plenty to choose from the range of appetisers, mains, breads and desserts – all which have that special home-cooked flavour added on.

Hearty home-made breads such as the bathura is a must-try here and so is the Maharaja baingen which is eggplant cooked with garam masala.


Saag gosht (spicy mutton cooked with spinach), prawn piazza (fresh prawns in tangy sauce), Maharaja baingen (eggplant in garam masala sauce), bhindi masalah (lady's fingers with coriander and cumin) and achari chicken (slightly hot dish in pickling spices).
